Regular and System Boiler Installation

Office staff pleasant friendly and very helpful. Service engineer arrived within allocated time scale who was also pleasant and friendly, was only for yearly service of my ATAG boiler, no problems didn’t need any extra work. Have been using Nicholsons for many years, would have given 5 stars if they still did plumbing work very disappointing that they don’t.

Nicholson's fitted my Vaillant gas boiler in 2019 and did a great job. Last week it stopped working because an internal component failed (fuel pump). I called them and they called the next morning . They rang the Vaillant engineer who came out and fixed it under warranty. They are always really helpful and give a good, reliable back up service. Excellent and I would recommend them.

From ringing Nicholson's to them replacing my old boiler only took 4 days. Even talked us out of buying the dearer Baxi Gold package as said the cheaper silver package was sufficient for our needs. The fitters were very pleasant lads, explained everything brilliantly and cleaned up after themselves. Smashing job. Chose Nicholson's as my sister, mam and daughter have all used them and are very satisfied.

My annual boiler service was carried out on the date and time arranged with no fuss and a very understanding young man who kindly looked at a leaking radiator valve for me and then arranged for a replacement valve to be fitted within a few days. It was only a very slight leak, so no rush.
The fitter was efficient and completed my new rad valve fitting with no mess and fuss and was gone 25 minutes later.

Just had ATAG boiler fitted by Nicholson heating services.Had to re-route gas supply and remove hot and cold water tanks.Engineers were very efficient and left rooms near and tidy.Excellent work by everyone from quoting to completion.Well done. Ann& Jim (Ferryhill)

Replaced an old Baxi boiler by a new Atag. A site visit by the boss with wise advice and experience, quotation with 8 options over the price range, helpful team in the office, boilers in stock. Installation one week later by a pair of young, cheerful and entirely competent fitters. The finished job is much neater than the tangle that came out. The company took care of warranty registration and emailed certificates a few days later. Happy customer then.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Ailsa answered my call for help when boiler gave up on me and arranged engineer then quote and installation quickly, keeping in touch all through the process.
We chose an ATAG Economiser Silver Combi 31KW, which was fitted by Gary and his apprentice who were both great, dust sheets put down and no mess at all. Can't fault the service at all and wouldn't hesitate to recomend.

When arranging the time and date for my annual boiler service the office staff very helpful, friendly and very accommodating, arranging a suitable and convenient time for me. Nothing was a problem for them.
The service engineer was very punctual and arrived at the arranged time. He was very friendly, well presented, knowledgeable and courteous.

We had a new Vaillant boiler fitted in November 2021 by Nicholson Heating Services and we very happy with it. The fitters were very experienced and were clean and tidy. We have had our first Gas Service done recently by them. The engineer checked the boiler, cleaned the magnet, checked our hot water tank in in the loft and also the radiators. We would definitely recommend Nicholson for their friendly and efficient service.

Had Nicholsons install our ATAG boiler 5 years ago, they did an excellent job. Boiler has a 10 year warranty and reduced our gas bills at that time by about £12 per month. Dread to think what I would be paying for gas now with our old boiler. They service it every year at a very reasonable £80 and if anything goes wrong with it (which it rarely does) they attend in a reasonable time and sort it out.

A great company both local and reliable. Always arrive on time and carry out work with minimal mess and disruption. New Boiler installed and serviced by them on an ongoing service contract (much cheaper than other big names). All the staff from the reception to the engineers are helpful and pleasant to deal with. Very happy.

Superb communication, very reasonable prices, genuine family business who work to look after their customers. Excellent job on our new boiler installation by really nice hard working friendly guys. We had an old combi removed from one of the bedrooms and a new Worcester Bosch external boiler fitted outside. Amazing to free up so much space in the bedroom. Thank you. :)
